Mark Hartje is an experienced professional with over 15 years of experience in business development, multi-disciplinary team management, project delivery, and strategic client development. He is known for his attention to detail, proficiency, and exceptional quality of work that fits within his client’s financial needs. Mark values teamwork, integrity, professionalism, communication, organization, and developing relationships at American Bison Construction.

Mark graduated from Utah Valley University with a B.S. in Behavioral Science and an emphasis on Sociology. He brings years of supervision, team management, and individual client development experience to his role at American Bison Construction. Mark is an outdoors enthusiast and enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and traveling around the world.

Wally Hartje IV (Little Wally) specializes in business development, project management, quality control, account management, and schedule management. His mission is to exceed client expectations by delivering high-quality work while upholding strong financial management practices.

In 2015, Wally and his wife moved to Boise to be closer to family. Wally’s passion for real estate and his professional background in banking and mortgages led him to start buying distressed homes to remodel and resell. With time and expertise, Wally built his business and oversaw the construction of several residential infill projects and home remodels since 2016 When he isn’t working, Wally enjoys wrestling and watching movies with his two boys

Walter Hartje III (Big Wally) has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, Big has worked on a wide range of projects, from concrete work, plumbing, and electrical to carpentry. Prior to relocating to Boise to be closer to his family, Wally spent the majority of his professional life running a successful commercial and residential HVAC company in the greater Chicago area.

Wally is known for his integrity and relationship-based approach to business. He has served on various ethics and safety committees throughout his career and has built a reputation for delivering high-quality work that meets the best interests of the consumer. Wally continues to work closely with architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure that each project is completed to the highest standard. Wally served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and received an honorable discharge. He is very active with his family, community, and church.
